Teaching Children with Cerebral Palsy

Severe orthopaedic impairments, those impacting the bone structure of the body, impedes the academic performance of the child. Such children, often with normal cognitive and scholastic faculty, suffer because of their physical condition. While physiotherapy programs address their physical condition, they need special care to help cope with academics because of their diability/ies. Quite often, their inability to sit through long sessions hinder their learning. Adapted lessons, that take shorter sitting tolerances to complete are important for these students.
