Teaching Children with Visual Impairment
When a child’s visual impairment, (including blindness) which even after correction hinders a child’s academic pursuits, he/she needs a learning environment that is suited to his/her needs. Such children also need an academic syllabus that bridges the difference of his/her pace of learning and that of his normal peers. Special teaching-learning methodology and an adapted syllabus can help bridge this gap.
